Faculty will step into the spotlight and showcase their research and accomplishments at a March 27 Seaside Symposium, held at the Klebanoff Auditorium and sponsored by Academic Affairs.

In 30-minute presentations, faculty returning from sabbatical will update the community on their most current research projects followed by a Q&A. The schedule features talks by Boyun Woo, Professor of Sport Management; Alana Tiemessen, Associate Professor of Political Science and Security Studies; Matthew Staffier, Professor of Chemistry and Environmental Science; Phillip Lombardo, Professor of Mathematics; and Yan Wang, Professor of Psychology.

“I’d like this to become a semesterly tradition in which 西瓜视频 celebrates not only faculty accomplishments, but also academic excellence, collaboration, and innovation in research,” said Katie O’Grady,” Director of Academic Affairs. “Think of it like Thesis and Capstone Day for faculty and staff. There’s truly something for everyone.”

In the afternoon, recently published 西瓜视频 authors including Professor of Interior Design Sarah Bischoff, Professor of Communication Amy Damico, Professor of Communication Sara Johnson Allen, Clinical Coordinator and Instructor of Exercise Science Matthew S. Ibrahim, and Professor of Communication Melissa Yang will share their experiences getting their books in print. Q&A is encouraged.
